It is hoped that this website will offer a brief introduction to Mark Twain Travel.  Whether you are a new traveler or an oft returning one, we welcome you.  Please explore these pages to learn more about us.  If you don't see exactly what you are looking for, please do not hesitate to contact us by clicking on the "contact us" page, or by clicking any one of the "I want more information" links on our pages.  We are here to help.  We are also here to support our "computer savvy" visitors.  If you find something on the internet that you like we can generally book it for you.  Why would you want to do that?  Because if we book your findings for you then we will be there to assist you if there are any issues.  Mark Twain Travel is known for its customer service; you are our customer...it is our pleasure to aid in whatever way we can.

Mark Twain Travel has  been a full service travel agency for over 50 years. Our trained travel consultants  have a passion for travel, and have personally traveled all over the world.  As such, staff does not "speak" to you from brochures.  Instead, and in most instances, our consultants can speak from personal experiences as staff have visited over 100 countries internationally and have utilized most of the major cruise lines, tour companies, and resorts.

Mark Twain Travel underwent a rigorous accreditation process to become an approved agency by  IATA ( International Airlines Travel Agent Network ), CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), and ARC (Airline Reporting Corporation).

Unlike most travel agencies, Mark Twain Travel staff does not get paid by commission.  All  staff is on salary.  Thus, staff spends your money like it was their own.  We are not here to up sell you or to talk you into purchasing something that is not right for you.  We are here to get you the very best value for your dollar.  Additionally, unlike many on line sites or 800 services, we are not attached to any particular supplier.  We have access to all of them and can thus shop them all to find the best deal for you. We do not work for anyone but you!

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain from letting our expertise and experience guide you in your travel needs.  Any member of Mark Twain Travel staff will be more than happy to help you.  And, as Mark Twain Travel staff works as a team, we pool our combined knowledge to get you the best information possible.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do.  So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore.  Dream.  Discover."

---Mark Twain
